Unable to print anything with a new SV06 ACE

Bambu is getting more closed sourced & will release an update soon to lockout Orca Slicer unless Orca agrees to the Wi-Fi Plugin conditions.

I can agree, most reviewers now basically just say how to use the printer…setting it up & showing models…very few give a real review now.
I want to know the bad as well as the good, and even the bad is just skimmed for the most part…JMO

After working with SOVOL support the verdict is that there are problems with the parts in the X/Y motor, X/Y motor wire, and X/Y synchronous belt. They want me to replace these parts which they will provide. I am done messing with this printer and will just return it (hope I can get all the parts back in the box). I am surprised they have not offered to sent me a new printer, which I suspect is because this is probably a manufacturing/assembly problem that is likely to show up in another new printer. Hardware problems like this tend to show up in batches. And, of course, there is no guarantee that this will fix the problem.

This experience has not left me with a good taste for the SOVOL company, although the support has been pretty good without being able to talk to a human being.

I bought this printer to support my woodworking shop and especially as something my 10 yr old granddaughter and I could play with together. She was so excited but after print after print failure, I watched the excitement fade.
