Unable to print anything with a new SV06 ACE

Y axis thud/ bottoming out on brand new sv06 ace

Just got a new svo6 ace but I’m having trouble with the y axis. It seems to be travelling too far foreward and hitting the end of its travel. When it does this it makes a thud and a clicking sound. I have tried all the calibration settings and updated the firmware from v15 to v19 but still no luck. While doing a test print (benchy) it gets halfway through then skips alignment about 4mm then skips back a little bit further on. Im guessing it’s all related. How does it sense the end of its run? …
