SV07 Plus Z-Tilt problems and having to retry a print 2-4 times before it prints

When doing the z-tilt before a print. I’m having problems with getting the “Retries aborting: Probed points range is increasing.” It does this 2-3 times before it finally completes and continues. Here is a sample of the output from starting a print. Bed is level, z-offset set correctly, mesh is there. OrcaSlicer! Any ideas? This is a new machine to me, and my first foray into Klipper. I previously had an Ender 3 Pro that I had just outgrown and gave to the kids. I had to do only one restart this time (it’s normally 3 times):

Did you have any luck getting this fixed? I am still seeing the same issue. I can get one thing to print, then starting the second, it takes several hours to get the bed leveled again. What am I doing wrong?

I had similar experiences with mine and ultimately it came down to loose wheels on the z axis and loose Allen head screws on the bracket attaching the anti backlash nuts.

Once I got everything tightened up, my z axis troubles pretty much disappeared.

Hope this helps.

Greg

How much should I tighten those screws?

Thanks, so these screws of the backlash nuts, do they have to be tightend as much as possible? On Sovol Homepage photos they seem to have little space between bolt head and base bracket plate of the gantry?

Maybe their picture is not correct?

For anyone experiencing the same issue and your search for a solution brings you here, the answer is “make the bolts tight”. Some thread lock liquid would be a good idea, too!

So you mean to properly tighten these two bolts and it works then?
Best regards

Yes, that’s all I had to do. All 4 screws were loose and once I tightened them everything was good again.
