New problem : Probe samples exceed tolerance. Retrying…

Been printing happy after replacing the parts that were damaged after the nozzle got pushed out until yesterday a new problem popped up.

Whenever the Z calibration or gantry leveling is started the printer start measuring all four corners like it should, but I see a lot of retries and eventually an error in the log of the printer.
I’ve checked belt tension with the gates app and adjusted where needed but sadly that wasn’t the solution.

Can the bed be warped of the motor driver be an issue ? Z-sensor maybe ?

You may have to pre heat the bed before running the bed leveling. If that fail rerun it just after, that should works. If that continues to fail, contact the sovol support.
If you fixed it but that continues to fail too frequently, there are more advanced parameters… But firstly make it works with regular features to exclude any mechanical damages

Last week I did some more diagnostics and I printed an M12 probe holder to try that.
When switching the probe I noticed the sovol probe made a rattling noise. I opened it up and found that the ferrite core around the spools has snapped in half. This is probably caused by the nozzle crash I had earlier.

This explains the varying reading as the resonance of the coil was changing with the loose piece of ferrite moving around in the casing.

With the M12 probe the problem disappeared.
I got in contact with sovol and they will send me a replacement.
