Touchscreen won't load t500

Hello,

I bought Comgrow T500 awhile ago and just got to install it today but the touchscreen stuck at loading said

“Armbian-unofficial 24.2.0-trunk bookworn tty1

Mkspi login:”

It replays this message every 5s or so.

Sovol won’t help bc I bought it from an Amazon resale merchant. Please help. Tia

I don’t have a T500 but I do have a SV07 which has a similar setup with the host computer in the display.

There are 2 methods of updating the firmware:

  1. Install a .deb package from a USB drive.
  2. Remove the EMMC module from the board inside the display, flash it with etcher and put it back.

You should try method 1. Unfortunately it sounds as if Armbiam is not completing the boot process you will most likely have to use method 2.

You’ll need a usb to EMMC dongle.
