Hi all. I had a problem with my new sv08 and received a new motherboard but I cannot get the printer to work. the printer just sits there with the boot up screen. I have tried to replace the Emmu with a new larger one the 32gb one bet the problem is still there.
Has anyone had a similar experience, or could someone with more experience help.

The EMMC must contain a valid image (Armbian + klipper etc) to boot. Once it boots it then launches the Sovol software than runs the touchscreen.
Are you looking at the printer touch screen or some other device?
The printer hdmi touchscreen. I am thinking it is one of the following.
1: faulty tool headboard.
2: cable from toolhead to main motherboard faulty.
3: reprogram the toolhead with adaptor. If O need to use the adaptor to reprogram what pins on the adaptor to connect to the toolhead?
The stock SV08 touchscreen is not HDMI it connects internally via a SPI connection.
There is a HDMI port on the mainboard.
Unplug the toolhead at the main board and Linux should still boot, start Klipper THEN throw errors to the screen.
Plug a HDMI monitor into the mainboard and you should see 150-200 lines of text ouput as Linux goes through the boot process… Except I bet it hangs early due to a issue with the OS image on the EMMC
