Received my SV08 Max during the week and have just built it up.
On power up I get the logo screen, followed by the ’System is starting’ screen
and there it stays…..
What can I do to get this moving on?
First off open a support ticket with Sovol by sending an email to info@sovol3d.com. Include your order number.
Now for the nuts and bolts:
The mainboard in your printer is a combination of 2 subsystems. 1) the “Host”, a general purpose computer (roughly equivalent to a raspberry Pi) that runs Linux and klipper. 2) a MCU board that interfaces klipper with all the motors, sensors, heaters. etc.
The ’System is starting’ screen is a static image stored in the MCU and really doesn’t tell us much.
If you connect a display (even a TV) to the HDMI port you may be able to see Linux errors preventing Linux from booting. A USB keyboard would allow you to interact with Linux.
99% chance you are going to need to reflash the OS. See:

Have raised a support ticket - so far the response has been - check some cables…
Am awaiting an eMMC adaptor now, to try the reflash.
Am a trifle disappointed that this is required on a brand new OOB printer!
