Sovol Zero Ship Date

If one misses the April 10 ship date, when will next ship date be?

Usually when Sovol starts shipping, they will add another Chart to the main page for the next batch.

I waited two days for a shipping notification that didn’t arrive so I emailed Sovol at the end of the business day today and they responded quickly, telling me that the Zero started shipping in the US on 10APR25 and they’re shipping in the order they received the orders. I ordered my Zero on 28MAR25. Has anyone in the US received a shipping notification, or received their Zero?

Yes, I received my shipping email late in the day on the 10th.
Yesterday UPS posted that it will be here on the 16th.

My Zero was delivered on April 4th.

You can’t tease us like that. Nine days later, do you like your Zero? Any quirks? Pleasant surprises? Disappointments? There were few reviews of the pre-production early units and I haven’t seen anything from paying customers who received an early production unit.

Based on your delivery date, are you in Europe?

Location: North America. I don’t know why it shipped out as early as it did.

Things are mostly good so far. I think I have to adjust the Z-offset a little bit, it seems a little too low.

I’ve finished my first functional print, an AC hose adapter to connect the exhaust fan of the Zero to vent out a window.

The 16mm long M3 bolt to attach the run-out sensor is too short, as noted by some video reviews. Definitely plan on getting a 20mm long M3.

Next I’m going to create a filter adapter to replace the top glass. This is so when I’m printing PLA or something that doesn’t need a heated chamber, I can still keep the door closed and vent to the outside. I will adapter a commonly available 10in x 10in filter that sits in place of the glass and allows the heat to rise up without allowing fumes / micro-particles out.

I would like to see some of your mods, so please post them when done.

Thanks for the initial report on your Zero. I have some mods planned as well and already have the parts… just waiting on the Zero. Hopefully it ships this week. I’ll upload mods to Printables and Thingiverse and post a link on this forum.

Can you share more about your planned mods?

I ordered some light gray PLA-LW (lightweight foaming PLA) so I can print little thermally insulated tiles to magnetically adhere to the inside of the steel panels on the sides and back of the Zero, and an insulated top panel to replace the glass top that uses square assembly pegs. I’ll probably make a version that prints small heat shield tiles on the Zero, and a version that prints entire panels in a single piece on the SV08. The top panel will have an activated carbon HEPA filter to remove fumes and fine particulates. The goal is to have a larger and more effective filter, but mostly to add thermal insulation to allow much more effective passive chamber heating that can hopefully reach 60 C instead of 50 C. I bought a little AA battery powered LCD thermometer/hygrometer to mount inside the Zero so I can see the chamber temperature at a glance even though the Mainsail interface also displays chamber temperature on my computer.

I print a lot of TPU and I prefer to feed it into a direct drive extruder from an overhead bearing spindle spool holder, and not routed through a reverse Bowden tube. I’ll probably add an extension cord for the filament run out sensor so I can mount it on top of the 3D printed enclosure lid. I’ll probably design the 3D printed insulated lid with four filament holes in case I decide to add the BondTech INDX system when it is hopefully available in several months. I don’t plan on printing four color prints. I’m interested in the INDX so I can load TPU, PLA, ABS and PETG-CF at the same time and print with whatever filament I like without needing to swap filaments, and also so I can print contrasting color text for a couple of layers on the top or bottom of the part, or PLA as an easy release support interface material on PETG-CF parts, or TPU feet on a PETG-CF part, or some other application that only requires 1-5 filament changes per part.

I was hoping my Zero would ship on April 10th. The 15th of April has passed without a shipping notification. Others in the US have already received their Zero printer from the first production batch. I’m hoping my Zero hasn’t been bumped to the next batch with a lengthy delay. I bought the Zero to print TPU parts for my business, one at a time with the door open and auto ejected into a bin for perpetual manufacturing without manually unloading parts. Hang a spool of filament and it runs a spool of parts. How cool is that?

I ordered my Zero on the 10th also. Sovol Customer Service said it would ship before the end of the month. I haven’t heard anything yet either.
