I updated to the new firmware V2.4.7 and now my 5 inch HDMI Display is up side down I’m new at Klipper all my other printers are Duet3D controlled have no clue how to fix it.
I seen other post says to ssh your printer what is ssh and how to do it.
I don’t know why Sovol did this and not fixed it for us old farts.
Hidden inside your SV08 is a “computer” running Linux. It is built on the same circuit board as the MCU that actually runs the heaters and motors that make things happen.
When you plug a display into the HDMI port Linux uses it as a display (monitor). Unfortunately Linux, without a full GUI, handles display rotation by editing a configuration file from the command line. SSH is a remote access protocol that allows you to interact with the OS from another computer.
Several pieces of software run under Linux to make everything work. As configured your printer runs “KlipperScreen” as a full screen application with no way to easy way to close it.
You are saying that this link is 2.4.7 even though the file is dated December of 2024? What version of klipper did you have after upgrading to this file?
I just confirmed that the file currently linked from the wiki is the same file I used back in March, it isn’t new. This is the file that bright me to 2.4.6.
I followed the Video and now the screen (sovol screen if it’s relevant) isn’t turning on at all… its just got the start-up Sovol logo and the loanding spinning icon… What can i do?
