One of the most read threads is about how horrible the SV07 is. I have bought 2 of them. The 2nd was dead on arrival.
I put it together and it wouldn’t turn on.
So I opened the bottom and flipped a switch and it came to life just to give me a MCU thermal overload error.
At least it was from Amazon to test a theory about the dead SV07 that support said that they will reimburse me for the cost of a SV06.
I only had to spam their YouTube channel, they wouldn’t send a replacement and then they sent me a screenshot showing that they had sent some random person the funds via PayPal.
I guess they couldn’t be bothered to look at the name and address since they had already sent me a bunch of parts for the SV07 over the past 6 months.
Each time 3+ weeks to try to bring it back to life.
Starting the first week of owning it, the brass nozzle broke off.
Instead of sending an extruder, they sent me a hotend
Did I mention that prior to buying the new SV07 I had used a Prusa MK3 twice at the library.
Now I have to strip one apart and ship it back to Amazon.
If support would admit that they may or may not have sent my refund to some random person and haven’t said anything since.
I even sent the original box image with the Name, address and serial number.
There is no Xmas and Chinese New Years hasn’t started.
I just want either a working machine or my $ back.
The $ that I used my visa debit like I showed in a screenshot, not PayPal.
I got so pissed off at this printer that I now own a P1S and AMS combo and it is night and day apart.
.
If they would send me the refund promised weeks ago, I’d have an A1 and AMS lite also as they make stuff that works well right out of the box.
If you can afford $400 the A1 is the most advanced printer on the market at $399 USD it kills the competition.
A little bit more and you can have a P1P or P1S which are the staple of most print farms now.
@sovol3d answer the FB messanger and send me the funds so that I can never contact your company that is a Creality Parts bin product.
They lucked out with the SV06 and SV06 ± that were well built.
The SV07 still has zero support, not even a sections on the official forum, nor does the Plus.
They really took a Prototype and shipping it out to many people who have had issues to the point where there are multiple Github repos dedicated to Unbricking your Sovol.
The MCU thermal overload error that cannot be cleared.
A new MKSPI got the Klipper board working but I have two MCU’s that a sensor or something is telling it to shut down.
I have spent so many hours in an attempt to fix it.
Had more tech people write detailed tutorials on how to try to fix it.
But their dead.
One is being disassembled and back to Amazon and I, will bug support until they follow through with their promises.
I offered to ship it back for an exchange but nope they said I would get a refund (well close to the amount I paid).
They are so incompetent that they mixed up a PayPal order number with my order number and sent some random person a refund, well they send me a screenshot of what they did.
Won’t answer support emails or FB Messanger so every video or short will be spammed until I, am reimbursed.
I am a disabled combat veteran on a fixed income and were in a economic crisis in Canada and I need to pay basic necessities so if they could do something like they promised it would be helpful.
Comgrow/Sovol /same factory as Creality, started by a Creality employee who said to himself that I can take old parts from the reject pile from Creality and print blue parts and make these.
SV06 was a good machine, too bad that they released the SV07 and Plus that were both available months before they were on the official site at a variety of prices.
The latest SV07 from Comgrow was on sale for $345 CAD so under $300 USD and since it is Amazon I can return it and get my money back fast.
What is next, a open frame Core XY machine without anything special, same extruder as the SV06 Plus or another bed singer with old half baked firmware pre installed.
Like the Mkspi Fluidd project hasn’t been updated in years, same for the main firmware, an old legacy 3 debain fork Buster. Attempt to update at your own peril.
Want to ad linear rails, nope not for a Sovol from multiple sources, now if it was a Creality Ender 3 or Elegoo who came out of nowhere and are dominating with an OK FDM and got a ridiculous amount of money for the Giga monster…
Refund me so that I can never have to post on here ever again please…
