Dude, I love the gear I bought from SOVOL. It does exactly what I ask it to within the limits of its design. Go buy a $5K printer and cry on their forum

Well folks… I was on the very edge of purchasing a Sovol until yesterday, when I discovered the Bambu A1 Mini on sale. That’s it for me. After following the Sovol forum and hearing about all of the issues PLUS reading the rave reviews about the Bambu A1, I went ahead and purchased the Bambu machine. Comparing the Bambu A1 to any Sovol is like comparing and old Model T Ford to a new Mercedes Benz. Cheers, everyone. I will still follow this forum but won’t be able to contribute anything to it.

Moderators: perhaps it’s time to remove this guy’s access to the forum. He obviously hates the printers we’ve all joined to discuss and support. Rather than have him continue to pollute the conversation, send him away and let’s all get back to printing.

I pre-ordered the SV06 Plus after looking at other 3D printers for some time. The wait for delivery was the worst part of the deal, but it was expected. I have not had any problems with it that did not come down to changing settings in a new-to-me slicer. I also had to learn how to print new filament types that my previous printer could not use. I have never had to contact support. Any problem I have had, I found a solution in the forum. I certainly sympathize with anyone having more serious problems than I have. But I suspect that the large number of negative experiences being posted are coming from a minority of users. When people are frustrated they tend to speak out and post their dissatisfaction, while those who have good experiences are less motivated to post about it.

I’m always pleased when a person (read: NEWSTREAM) shows his true nature. For myself, I don’t pet and pamper whiners, crybabies, and those that aren’t smart enough or resourceful enough to actually SOLVE problems. I’m glad they have people like you, NEWSTREAM, so they can feel some sort of consolation when ‘the whole world is just so unfair.’ Blah, blah, blah. And you … instead of expecting them to grow up, buckle up, and find a solution … immediately resort to pathetic name-calling and emotion based responses to those of us that expect people to be the grown-ups in the room.

I know WHY you do that. You need the same kind of misguided fool to come to YOUR rescue when YOU are the one crying about your problems or screaming how unfair the world is. You people are so worthless to those of us that handle difficulties, solve problems, and actually make the world a better, more successful place.

But we (the more intelligent, the more able, the more worthy) need people like you and your fellow progressive whiners. We like to point to you when we teach others, or perhaps our children, and say, “See that person? That’s what happens when you let your spine decay. You become useless and spend your time complaining about everything around you.” Thank you for being yet another example.

Now, go cry in the corner with your little whiner compadres. I’ll go help the world, 3D and otherwise, fix REAL problems and make REAL progress. Here ends the lesson. Class dismissed.

This is a forum about 3D printing. Not about the state of the politics in Canada or irrelevant stories about Afghanistan. TMI - the world does not care about this on a 3D printing forum. How that guy managed to talk about Woke politics and death sentences in such a forum is beyond me. Complete lack of self awareness.

The best way to handle trolls ist: ignoring them. Not only does this hurt them more than anything else, it also reduces the background noise.

We can of course discuss if Sovol ppl’s presence in this forum is enough or not, or how horrible the idea would be to go to fecesbook to talk to them. But this is already borderline. And beyond? Please simply stop

Not sure what you mean about contacting Sovol via fecesbook or if you are trolling when you say this is an horrible idea. I don’t use facebook, so not sure what you are trying to say here. Is it borderline to discuss it here, or do you mean it is borderline to contact them on Facebook?

What I find unacceptable is the fact a company would force its customer to have a specific social media account to be able to contact them. But after reading your message a few times I still can’t figure out if this was what you meant to say.

It’s really this simple. You are unhappy with your country, yet do nothing to change it. You bought a product you are unhappy with, but choose to go on a rant rather than actually take action… maybe talk to a lawyer About getting your money back or something. Instead you choose to rant about everything but the product to people that have nothing to do with your issues and then you proceed to insult a country you obviously know nothing about. Razghul speaks truth, but misses a key social dynamic.

The “ignore member” button found on legitimately moderated, semi public forums. The company message board here, is lacking the feature.

But I dont see much evidence that this demographic would utilize the feature.
Most posts have some variation of a claim their time has been wasted.

When you get a text from an Ex that is 6 words or less, you read it. Because it proly has a fact of some sort inside.

When it looks like one of the publishable treatise we’ve been bestowed here, you just delete it, yea?

So to claim you’re time has been wasted, infers full consumption of the clearly irelevant rant. Which implies you expected something of greater value in the rant, begging the question of processing sufficient critical thinking skills to discern the difference.
