Ok folks, I have tried everything I could find suggested on this board, YouTube, and from Sovol. New SV07 plus that I have not been able to z tilt calibrate. Checked screws, wheels, leveled the bed, checked backlash screws, leveled the gantry using precision machinist blocks, checked for any binding of the z axis lead screws, replaced proximity switch. Performed the z calibrate and z tilt more times than i can count, still the same error message. Anymore ideas or suggestions?? I’m at a loss.
Have you adjusted the lower roller on the X axis toolhead mount? That’s what fixed mine.
I have. I have adjusted all of the the Pom wheels on the printer as recommended. Still no success.
There are ways to get around your issue but they don’t “fix” anything.

Those settings worked for me before I tightened the rollers. I went back to “stock settings” and now only error out about 5% of the time.
Protip - If you run any [incudes] the changes in printer.cfg may be overridden by the included cfg. If you want to see the ACTUAL configuration download klippy.log from your printer and use this tool to extract the configuration.
Thank you. I’m new to 3D printing. I’m aware of the config file etc. I need to move cautiously because I’m afraid I will make things worse!
I have been communicating with Sovol directly and I have been performing various attempts based on what they have been suggesting. I will save this info and use as needed. Thanks for all the help. I’m thinking a new printer should not need all this…..
You shouldn’t have to “tweak” a new printer. Ask for a replacement if they can’t solve your issue.
Absolutely! i would like to avoid having to pack this thing up for return. Thanks for your input. I will report whatever happens. I truly appreciate your time.
