so I’m using comgrow t500 with a .06 nozzle, a initial height setting of .07 and a layer height of .3 mm. I’m using orca slicer v2.3.0
It doesn’t matter what filament type I use after 1/2 an hour to maybe an hour of printing the nozzle begins to collide with the printed material and if left alone will destroy the print.
I have to manually increase the Z setting to be able to complete the print.
I normally do a full prep before printing- cleaning bed, setting height and leveling
Sounds like your printing with the default infill…Grid.
Grid should not really be used a lot of users want it removed from the slicers.
Try Gyroid or Adaptive Cubic.
The other thing that could be at play is shrinkage causing a corner of the model to raise up. Mostly happens with a sharp corner between flat planes. Once the print is > 50mm tall the model can warp without pulling off the plate.
Do your collisions happen over the infill or at a corner?
