Intermittent error 26 on startup

Most times I start my SV08 I get an error 26. If I wait a few minutes sometimes a firmware restart will work and sometimes another 26.

Before the error I can see the bed temp on the screen and it’s a normal temperature.

Early on it was related to not finding the default bed mesh. I removed the delayed load and it worked for a day. I found this in the klipper log.

Now I get an MCU ‘mcu’ shutdown: ADC out of range.

This doesn’t seem to be related to the bed thermistor, is there anything else it can be?

It’s still a thermistor issue…which one, I can’t tell you.
But, since you had the bed issue before, I would start there.
Check the connections, look for a broken, loose or crimped wires.

When this happened I installed the R3men bed I had received. While it is possible the thermistor is bad on both it doesn’t seem likely. Could this be a main board failure?

Can you zip up your klippy.log and upload it?

I wouldn’t think it be the board as they usually just go out, it wouldn’t be intermittent.

Did you change this setting for your new bed..??

Yes that matches my config other than the pin numbers. I tried a thermistor pin on my klipper expander but it had the same results.

I have some new thermistors I could try, they aren’t for a bed but worth a try

I may have solved the issue. I had set the MCU fan to temperature control thinking that min temp was the temp it would come on at. It wasn’t 35c in a room in the 20s.

Not willing to completely say this is solved but hopeful.

And I know it’s my own fault but if klipper had just said which temp was out of range it would have saved a ton of anguish
