I had my SV08 on its side while mainlining it and one of the glass doors from the Sovol enclosure flew open and broke into pieces. It was very dumb of me to put the printer in that position where the door could open but at least no one was hurt and the pieces of glass were big. Now I need to replace the door or both doors if I can’t get a single. I found full enclosures but no replacement doors.
Is anyone aware of aftermarket replacement doors?
How about custom tempered glass doors that are pre-drilled and cost less than a new enclosure?
Is anyone using plastic instead of glass?
Sovol responded that since I bought the enclosure through Amazon I should contact their dedicated support for that retail channel (amazonus@sovol3d.com). The Amazonus mailbox responded that they would replace the door under the 1-year warranty even though I freely admitted that I was stupid and broke the door by accident. That’s excellent customer service!
