ZOffset change

Hello, SOLOL say

  1. You must save the Zoffset after adjusting it.

If you save the Zoffset on the knob screen, the machine will restart.

If you adjust the Z offset on the mainsail and save it, you must restart Klipper after saving, or choose to save and restart.

The machine will only apply it after saving and restarting Klipper.

  1. If you print at different temperatures, the machine will prepare for the grid detection before printing according to the temperature of PLA when it starts printing.

That means if the customer prints PETG, the nozzle temperature is 245/the hot bed temperature is 85, then the hot bed will be heated to 65 when printing starts.

Even if the customer heats the hot bed to 85 first,

as long as the printing starts, the machine will automatically adjust the hot bed temperature to 65 to perform gantry calibration, grid detection and other preparations before printing.

This is normal.

After the equalization and preparation work is completed, the machine will automatically heat up to the customer’s filament temperature

So far as I can tell the Printer bed bows upward in the middle if set for PETG for 3 Printing which sets the 3D Printer bed to 85.

This means hat Z Offset can NOT detect and such bow in the heater bed because it aways carries out this command with a heater bed set to 65, the temperature for PLA.

For PLA the Calibrate Z offset have no issues at 65 degrees. So far as I can tell there is no bowing for the 3D printer heat bed until it gets to the 85 degrees, SOVOL Orcaslicer suggest 85 is required for 3D printing in PETG.

So larger 3D Model’s printed in PETG are IMPOSSIBLE for me

3D Model’s printed in PETG at 85 on the Build plate. 3D Print at the X positions of far left and far right without and issue but once the printer tries to 3D Print the middle on the bed area the Build Plate Heater bed is too close to the Nozzle because the Build plate has wrapped, bowed higher and closer to the nozzle; THIS HAS CAUSED SOME DAMAGE TO THE BUILD PLATE SURFACE, nozzle scaping the Textured surface!!!

Bed warp or Inductive probe drift???

This helps, Raise the Nozzle without Homing
