This might be an easy question, and not Sovol SV06 plus specific, but I have had a few failed prints and want to auto home the print to reset the z axis for restarting.
I have been using g28 x y, which does exactly as intended, but when I think use g28 z, the printer moves the extruder head on the z axis AS WELL AS on the x and y, as if heading to a full autohome position at the centre of the bed.
Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated!
My intention is to use the printer to measure the z height of the failed piece to restart at point of failure with edited gcode.
