Why is my printer all of the sudden aggressively hit the print

My printer will be printing and all the sudden it will knock it off I mean like it will be so hard it will make a loud cracking noise and next thing you know the print has failed, I use the slicer that came with the sd card and I have done so many things to try to make the print stick on the bed the when the printer hits the print it struggles when it knocks it down if you want more specific detials ask wich ones and ill be glad to give you them.

This is usually cause by the hotend hitting the infill. Switch to Gyroid & the problem should go away.

I will try that thank you lion!

Hi lion! It did get farther than it did last time but it failed I can send some pictures if you want

Ya, add some pics.

[grid]

It looks like it might not have a lot of surface area to stick to the plate. It also looks like there would be supports on the bottom legs. I think if you add a Brim, it will complete. Make your Brim at least 5-6 lines.

I will try that thanks for the feed back!

Hu it failed once ag

Hi it failed once again. (last message was a typo ) something happened the top of the print it shifted I found out the pei plate i added to the plate is warping the corners will start unsticking and lifting. Do you think I should just get an adhesive or plain out get a new plate.

That is a layer shift, either from the print coming loose or the hotend hitting it.
We know it’s from the print coming loose. What I can’t tell you is if it’s the X or the Y because you took the picture after you removed it from the printer.
My guess is that maybe your plate is dirty. You can use Elmer’s Purple, but I think you should really try scrubbing your plate first.
Use dish soap (Dawn) and scrub it with something like this: https://shrtn.escalar.pt/DTMT

Can you post a link to this model so I can download & look at it.

It was an X layer shift and I usally use some isopropyl alcohol and spray it on and use a micro fiber rag to wipe it off.

I use IPA myself, but for a difficult or long print I will wash the plate first.
If you don’t wash your plate, eventually the IPA will just leave a filament layer/film on top that you can’t see.

I just noticed this was an SV07, which I don’t have & can’t test this model by printing it.
I still would like to load it up in a slicer so I can see how much of the model touches the plate.

The model looks small, it’s possible you might have to slow the print down a little.
But since you made it to the top of the head, I think your speed is alright.

A bigger brim might help, but that would just be a band-aid, I really think your plate is just dirty.

I didn’t ask this before, but what temps are you printing at…hotend & bed temp & what kind of filament…??

210 and 60 for the first layer woth no fan till the third layer then the fan turns on and the hot end cools down to 200

Set it to 210* for the entire print.

Do you have a link to this model or can you upload the STL…??
