SV07+ - printing error: even rim does not stick

Hi!

Since a few days ago, I cannot get the printer to print anything correctly, even models that worked before. I calibrated the bed corners, z-tilt and mesh and they all seem fine. I also tried different temperatures (bed to 60C instead of 50 and extruder to 225) but this did not help. It starts already with the very first layer. The trim a rectangle comes out with very strange corners and the second rim overlapping the first (see photos).

Does anyone have an idea what the reason could be? Tahnkful for any tip

Hi,

I had this issue several times

I necer used something like primer or stick glue or anything else

What helped me was, sponge cleaning the while surface several times with dishwasher liquid
Standard not sensitive, without aloe vera or something

Then dried the plate and cleaned with isopropanol

Did you try new and dry filament?

Did you reduce fan part speed?

Maybe something if this may help

Regarding edge overlap
Did you ceeate a bed mesh?
Really correct nozzle distance?

Hi,
Why don’t you want to use some glue on your bed ?

I never needed to do this

Maybe it is helpful in any ways but in the past worked well without

It might be extra effort in preoaring and cleaning

I don’t ask myself the question, from time to time, I spray hairspray on the bed and when it’s dirty, I clean it.

Clean your plate. Everything you said is conducive to a dirty plate.
Wash your plate with hot water & liquid soap (Dawn works best). Try to use a sponge with some texture to it…something like this.
Dry off the plate & if you have it, wipe it with some IPA.

hi an thanks a lot! I did try glue (you can the residue in the uper right corner of the picture). Didn’t seem to help, but I will try it again with more glue. The bed itself was new and probably clean (before using the glue). The filament is realtively new and I also tried other filament (but white shows better on the dark surface  ).
I actually deactivated the fan for the first 4 layers. This didn’t solve the issue though.

Regarding the bed mesh: I created it and called it default. Do I need to do anything further or will the printer just apply it?

You always clean the plate before first use.

Also, double check that you leveled correctly & set the Z-Offset.

maybe you a right. I am now using an old bed (with a lot of glue) and I already get much better results (although I also never cleaned that one, but maybe I just got lucky). I let the printer now finish on the old bed and will clean the new bed in the meantime.

Thanks!

Even found this in the kitchen cabinet
