The Sovol SV07 plus is my first Sovol and I have been shutting it off with the power switch on the rear left side. But I recently realized that on the display, on the side of it, there is an on/off button. Is that how I should be shutting it off?
I’ve never seen an SV07 in person, so honestly…I have not idea.
I’d say, use the red power switch you just replaced…as I’ve never seen another way.
The manual should be able to tell you also.

Turning it off using the switch is a bad idea. It will end up corrupting your system files (been there done that). Navigate to the configuration → system → shutdown → printer from the touch screen, or simply do it from the PC. Then use the switch afterwards.

maybe I should have read the instructions. lol. I own 5 other printers, 3 enders and 2 bambus , just thought I knew everything about printers. Guess not. lol.

was hoping u could help me with something new. I just got to install new plug , its turns on but now I tried to home the z and it diggs into the bed. i restarted klipper and even reset factory settings and xy home but z diggs into the bed. any ideas?

this is what im getting. i know how to bed level. i own 3 enders, this is weird. i dont know what to do. i dont know how to go in its code to fix stufff.

i am not a coder, i just want the printer to work. i dont understand what these things are or how to do it. i dont have the time to do all this coding, plus i dont even know how to start. with creality , there are firmware files to fix issues. bambu send corrections. Sovol , you figure it out. this is so frustrating. i tried reading what u sent, they dont know they are doing. thanks for trying to help but im going to sell thing on ebay or facebook market. its 2024, printers should just work. wish that bambu would come out with a larger bed then i would have to deal with inferrieor companys.

i’m sorry but i had to rant because i was so upset. i know that you guys are nice and are here to help. so far this sovol community has been great . but my issue is that why should there be a gruop like this , when Sovol and/or Klipper should have a dedicated website for these problem. a site where they come up with answers and directions for customers to use to repair their printers. Creality and bambu both have dedicated websites for answers and updated firmware and instructions. These doesn’t and it’s frustrating. I had this printer set up and 2 weeks later it shut down. had no idea what happened. i email sovol and got no responce. i went on a facebook gruop and there was no one there to help. finally i found this site and this person told me to check the outlet/on and off switch. that was the probblem. i waited 3 weeks for the part. i put it on and now klipper wont work. first the plug now this. this is a brandf new printer. sv07, the just put out the sv08. this shouldnt be happening. i just dont get how this is ok. its not. and i spent alot of money on this hoping to have a large bed to print larger items. but i get this. idk. sorry, for lashing out. i apoligize.

ok, but how does that fix my issue with klipper?
i dont want to look up logs, i dont want to lookup mainsail, whatever that is. i just a printer that works. i dont want to do all this stuff. send me a dpownload file that corrects this. not instructions to look up loggs . no. a file that i stick in the machine and it fixes it. fixes klipper.
