I have a SV08 with OEM enclosure and it prints PLA and PETG perfectly fine but when it comes to printing ABS the print gets 2-3 hours in then i get “extra mcu” error. I believe this is something to do with the temperature of the enclosure as it gets higher but im not sure what i can do about this as i need the encloser closed to print the ABS but then it appears to cause this problem. Any ideas how i can fix this would be great

The “extra_MCU” is the toolhead board. I have insulated mine and it gets rather hot! It gets to 50C+ inside the chamber and the extra MCU get to 80C or higher while printing. I have drilled some holes and added a heatsink onto the toolhead MCU. It still gets up over 80C but continues to print. I have been looking to add a cooling fan for the MCU. there are soome designs out there.
This is a chronic problem on the SV08. That is why Sovol created the guide @Lion linked above.
I recommend you open a support case as you will most likely need replacement parts to solve your issue. Email info@sovol3d.com. Include your order number.
If you don’t have the tools and/or skills to run the diagnostic routines Sovol will (usually) send parts to try based on their best guess.
