I’m needing some help with Klipper file to understand why my SV08 keeps giving error code 8, started very recently and I’ve not made any changes to the printer. Usually get half to 2 thirds through a print, then it fails and gives error code 8. Today I was monitoring the print with Orcaslicer and all temps and everything looked stable then error code 8 and it stopped printing. It is a stock SV08.
Hello,
I recommend sending an email to info@sovol3d.com with your order number.
They will respond within a week.
Try this:
Are you getting “Extra MCU or Host MCU shutdown with timer too close error” showing in mainsail? How much free space do you have on the eMMC? You need at least 25 to 30% free space on the OEM 8GB eMMC or you will experience weird errors because there is not enough room to process the g-code - same as it happens on a computer when the hard drive gets too full. If less than 25% free space start deleting g-code files (you can back them up if you still want them). Many people upgrade to a 32GB eMMC module to eliminate this issue. I have one in mine and I have ~21GB of free space and never worry about running out of space.
