Hi, can some one help me with the Printer.CFG file with with an working z offset?
i got 6 printers and all dosnt save z_ofsset, or dosnt apply or rests the input…
i tryed to put some code in printer.cfg it dose the z offset but randomly it resets it… and if im not carefull i print a bad first layer if i dont tune it while printing…
saved at the offset and after finish print save config up…
Nozzle and bed have to be clean when you home Z. The nozzle actually touches the bed on the ace. Other than that I’m out of ideas.
they are cleaned… every print i clean them
Here is the sheet that i set the z offset… save config reprint with same settings
Why did i need to listen to my friends and buy 6 fuking sovols…
What is your print temp & filament..??
Sovol petg, 245 nozzle with 80 bed
What size nozzle are you using..??
This pic is giving me some questions…like slicer settings, line width…
OK, these are not the default settings, you’ve already changed them…a lot of them.
Question is, did you did this before you tried printing or did you start changing things after you weren’t happy.
You might not like it, but you should change 1 of the 6 printers back to the Default Orca Profile, so we have something to start with…JMO
Is the only user I know that has an SV06 Plus Ace, he might be able to help further.
I have the Ace & looking at the Orca Profile, they should be 99% the same.
My post above stands, this is a slicer issue.
Thanks for the praise! I have to say that I haven’t changed the Z offset on either the SV06 ACE or the SV06 Plus ACE. It worked without any intervention on both printers. Why this sheet of paper? The printer doesn’t scan the 0.2 mm height like the old printers with limit switches. It needs a height of 0 to scan. This causes the nozzle to be too high, and the first layer becomes holey.
After calibration made changes in slicer to finetune it
So, are things alright now..??
NO, these are so you understand why im not using sovol standard profile in slice
Don’t know what to tell you, it is impossible you received 6 bad printers.
This is user error & if you don’t want to work with us & change a few things, then I can’t help you.
You will have to wait for another user to jump in & take over…good luck.
