Sovol S07+ doesn't save negative z_offset correctly - firmware bug

Hi!
When leveling bed via the menue I’m getting a Z-Offset of -1.95
When saving and restarting the printer it changes that value to +1.95, so a difference of 3.9mm - it prints into the air!

So I have to lower the Z-Axis every print manually by 3.9mm while the print starts -.-

How to avoid that?

Kind regards
ForenSeil

Addition: I bet this guy has the same problem

I’ve recently got a SV07+ too and was having the same issue.

“Solved” it by doing the z-offset calibration via the Klipper WebUI (mainsail). Other calibration didn’t have any problems and the benchy preinstalled on the USB printed well. Prints as expected via both the touchscreen and main sail.

One other thing to watch out for was the remnants of the filament from the Sovol factory test print left in the nozzle, it didn’t leak out and took a bit of extruding to get it all out. I think I should have heated the nozzle a bit higher (used 200C).
