Stepper Motor Shorted

New to Sovol but not to 3D, my other 2 machines are Flashforge AD5M’s so no issues with cables and plates interacting until I got the 7Plus. So yet another victim of the dreaded to long of a screw for levelling on only my 2nd day of ownership. On a positive note Support was quick to respond and is sending out a new motor, cable and wheel as the levelling screw decided to pull the cable off the motor damaging it and the connector and found no tie wraps holding the cable down, only tape. So the machines are still coming out of the factory with low quality control. Inspect the machines and have tools ready for a day of tightening along with a few hours of calibration. Other than that I was enjoying the machine and all the future tinkering possibilities.

Hello,
Send an email to info@sovol3d.com with your order number and a description of the problem.
If you can send photos or videos, that would be even better.
They will respond within a week.

He already did that, Sovol is sending him the parts.
His post is about quality control.

Yes quality control issues, they have been having this problem for years and have not created a solution yet that is a statement of quantity over quality.

Sovol is a small company.
If I remember right, it’s like around 100 people building machines by hand.
