I posted maybe a week or 2 ago in this forum having bed crash issues with my zero during eddy calibration. I was advised to firmware reset and this fixed it for a short while. Now it’s back to the same issues and i didn’t modify or change anything? i had like 40 perfect prints in a row and then out of no where it suddenly started having the exact same issue. During the calibration it will push the nozzle a bit too far the first 2 probes. Then on third one it will start grinding the nozzle into the bed until i force stop. I’ve tried multiple beds and the same issue persists. This is the standard eddy calibrate test from the knob screen with 130c as the temperature. The nozzle is clean, it’s sovol nozzle so not aftermarket, i made no firmware changes. Any ideas? Sovol support hasn’t really been helpful at all so i was going to try the forum again.
forgot to add i checked all the screws, dissasembled and reassembled, tried another firmware reset, checked nozzle tightness, checked all connections and wiring.
Did you look at your Klippy.log for problems similar to what were seen before? Maybe post the log so others more experienced can review it?
changing the drive current to 16 instead of 15 fixed the issue for me. Does this just mean my eddy sensor is mounted a bit high or low?
