After getting a biqu filament feeder which I assumed would solve my problem it does not. From what I see the extruder gear does not rotate with the motor. I tightened the grub screws and it printed about 5 layers on a benchy and then back to nothing. There’s no clog, there’s no feeding issues, it’s simply the extruder gears slipping. The tension screw I’ve played with and it was perfect. Back to square 1. So frustrating. If the grub screws are loose I will loctite them in, absolutely ridiculous. Terrible design I hope theres an alternative one to use.
The Max uses the same extruder as the Zero and the SV08. Heater sections vary, control boards vary. The motor, planetary gear set, drive rollers and the tension arm are identical. There is one well documented design flaw.
