Sovol 07 z Offset calibration problem

Hello, I bought a Sovol07 and am trying to calibrate it according to the instructions! However, I’m already failing at the Z-offset. I can’t lower the extruder far enough for the nozzle to even come close to touching the A4 paper! According to the Klipper display, I would need to go into the negative Z-offset range, but the printer stops with the nozzle approximately 1mm above the bed or paper.

All of my printers are set in the negative, it’s not an issue & won’t cause you any problems.

Okay, but the Thing is I have already done that… According to Klipper, I am in the negative range, but at a certain point, the printer does not move the nozzle any closer to the print bed! I can’t get anywhere near the point where the nozzle touches the paper; there is simply too much space between the nozzle and the paper.

Care to share the steps?

Hi @sovol3d ,

Could you ask the technician what advice they gave to resolve the issue and post it here?

Thank you in advance.

Hi. I asked the technician. The poster’s situation is normal. When leveling, the nozzle may appear to be stationary because the movement distance is very small (only 0.05). However, it is actually moving. When moving the Z axis downward, the nozzle will drop and then rise. If you feel that there is no movement, please refer to the figure below to observe whether the parameters in the figure have changed.

If you have problems in calibration, you can describe it in detail
