I just assembled an SV08 and started the auto-leveling. However, in step 6 of the manual, the z-calibration seems to never end. What should happen in this phase? What may I check to see that everything is working fine? The printer is on even ground, and the extruder is working fine.

The cool down at 1:14 goes beyond 130° down to 37 after waiting very Long. The nozzle ist Not clicking on the z Sensor, it doesnt perform the Up and down jiggling. But In General, the z Axis moves for the very First step.
I‘m so sorry to cause you so much trouble. Can you send an email to info@sovol3d.com? Please send the above situation with your order number. We will check with the engineers asap.
Hi,
I am having the same issue on my SV08. Can you share the solution if you were able to fix yours? Thanks!
I’m having the same issue was this ever solved?
Mine was resolved. Check the cables to both your X and Y motors and make sure they are connected to the motors. What happened to me was that when I installed the open enclosure, the drag chain was too long and it accidently pulled off the cable to my Y motor. Therefore my Y motor was not activated at all during the calibration process, so the gantry can’t find the z offset sensor.
Hope this helps.
