Official Eddy sensor upgrade intermittent be crashing

Really liking the speed of this new probe, not so much how it likes to force itself into the bed randomly right before it cleans the nozzle. It forces it so hard, all 4 z axes motors skip massively.

Whats weird is, its not all the time, and once its going, as long as I dont restart it, it wont do it again. But turning it off for the night then on again later, it will randomly do it again. Most of the time, a restart or 2 will get it working, which is really odd. It doesn’t even need to go down before it does a clean, it already knows where it is in space, so why is it even coded to do that?

One issue is, it doesn’t do a quad gantry as the first thing it does, and this printer has a habit of sinking at the back from the weight of the motors, so if I forget to do it manually, it drags the nozzle across the bed from the front left corner to where it waits to heat for the nozzle clean.

Couple of improvements for Sovol, it needs a QGL before doing anything else. It also needs to not be able to ram the nozzle into the bed so hard it flexes the toolhead upward. Why does it need to go down at that point? Why is that coded in? why doesn’t it go straight into the clean? Please either give us an update that removes the code that tells it to move down at that point, for no reason at all, or at least tell us what configs we need to change to make it stop, because at this rate, its going to either damage my nozzle, gantry or tool head. The plate is already ruined from it printing too close and scraping off the surface because a config was commented out by default when it shouldn’t be.

I love the printer, but these little niggles are avoidable wit testing.
