New SV08 today, Is it safe to print PETG?

I am printing a lot in PETG too and i had the issue. I do not understood all but you can just make a hole on your nozzle and add a small piece of metal to make it stronger. It’s explained here and existing some model (on printable if i am well remember) to have a template where to do the hole : Mayor crash after many flawless prints - #8 by wrusman

In addition, i recommand you to reduice the flow (parameter named Maximum Volumetric Speed on your filement) to something like 10mm3/s instead of default value provided by Sovol for orca. That should avoid the trouble + the quality of your print will be very better (at least that worked for me).

PS: And if you experiment the trouble, Sovol is very reactive and send the new nozzle + bed plate quickly… but it’s always better to do not need replacement.

PS2: I found the template Template to drill Hole in SV08 Heatblock/Nozzle by cascadier - Thingiverse
