I’m trying to print with PETG with the Sovol 08 / Orca Slicer, the first layer seems to go well but after that the filament is very thin and falls apart in small pieces, i’ve an image but i’m new here and i do not know how can i share it.
Did you clean your nozzle when you changed your filament?
No, at some point i thought it could be clogged than i change to PLA and printed ok i changed back to PETG and printed like in the image.
Do i have to clean the nozzle? is there any video showing how to do it?
The easiest way is to use a special cleaning filament.
The PETG is a filament that clogs the nozzle, it is better to clean the nozzle after each use of such a filament
But i’ve very good printings with PLA after a PETG printing if it was clogged the PLA printing was bad, even in the picture, on the right side you can see easier that the first layer it’s good, but after that we can see a lot of rubbish
I gave you some advice.
You can follow it or not.
Did you use the Orcaslicer profile provided or did you change it?
What are the printing parameters?
Is the blue filament PETG?
Try to print just the first layer so we can see it correctly.
What temp are you printing PETG at…??
It should be 235*-255* for most PETG. I have one that’s 270*.
For my part, I print at 235°C and bed 85°
Are you using the old style nozzle or the new style with the hole in the side…??
I’m not sure i’m new with sovol (i had a prusa 10 years ago) i’m sending some pictures from the nozzle
i will have to disassemble the nozzle to clean it,i’ll be near the printer next wednesday i can give you more details, for now i want to say thank you for the time you two have spend with my issue.

check the infamous extruder idler gear
It’s the new nozzle, not sure why you keep getting clogs.
