Hi there…
Almost from begining I’m stragling with this ugly layers on my prints… Now I have sovol 0.6 nozzle… PETG fillament. Same fillament, on the other printers - everything is perfect. I was trying differend speed, presure calibration, flow calibration… nothing helped…

Thanks Lion for sharing,
I checked that post, but it’s not matching my problem. I mean my pin is on place and doing well.
I noticed that this screw wasn’t tight at all (screenshot), so I tight it a little bit, and the behaviour totaly changed. Can it be the issue? If yes, is it any tutorial how tight I need to set it? Thanks in advance
Yes that is the tension screw. It adjust how tight the filament is grabbed the the gears.
This is a basic video with a bowden setup, but the principle is the same.
Sovol’s are pretty much always on the tight side, so I would screw it in all the way…not tight…than back it off 1/2 or 3/4 a turn…and adjust from there…JMO
PETG can be stringy. While you’ve done pressure advance, ensure your retraction distance and speed are reasonable for PETG (often shorter and slower retractions work well, e.g., 1-4mm distance, 25-40mm/s speed for direct drive, might be higher for Bowden). Incorrect retraction can sometimes contribute to nozzle clogs or inconsistent flow.
