Don’t modify too much, as it may corrupt other settings.
In my opinion all the “must change” firmware settings you see on youtube etc have minimal or maybe even an adverse effect.
The biggest change for me was mounting a regular M12 probe and fixing the extruder gear pin, after that I never needed a heat-soak or whatever and the printer just prints whatever I throw at him
