My Klipper screen recently went down, with the screen dead and only the green LED solidly lit. I cannot connect via wifi, SSH, etc. Things I have tried:
Updating klipperscreen firmware via flash drive - nothing even started
SSH - does not even show up as a comms device in device manager via USB-C
eMMC - bought the eMMC adapter, and flashed via balenaEtcher - balena said the flash was successful but no change once I plug it back in, just sits there doing nothing
Is this thing bricked? Not sure what else to try now, as I cannot connect to this thing at all. I can’t even get logs. Extremely frustrating, especially when I see others have had this issue and seemed to get it resolved by one of the above.
It does not have all that I need to know as I’ve tried all of the solutions presented in that link multiple times. I have an email into support, but I’m not holding my breath there. I was hoping someone had an unorthodox solution that worked.
I just had a bit of mixed success - created a bootable USB drive with the klipperscreen image. Got it to boot, and connected to wifi. Dealt with a z_offset not being set error (which returned when I restarted it), but it’s working.
This really didn’t solve the problem though, just went around the main issue.
