Hi guys,

I’m writing this because i can’t deal anymore with this printer. I’ve had some troubles with the update, the klipperscreen was dead, ordered the mks adapter for the emmc, did everything i could, read everything i could, but at some point, i’ll lose focus and interest.
The touchscreen is working now, but i get this mcu error. Tried everything that i could, but i’m willing to try more, if someone has some advices.
It’s my first printer and unfortunately, not the greatest experience.
Is there anyone here that had this situation?

The error in question

serialhdl.error: mcu 'mcu': Serial connection closed
mcu 'mcu': Timeout on connect

Implies that the USB cable to the printer mainboard isn’t fully connected. This could be as simple as a loose cable, or as complex as a bad driver on the screen. My two suggestions are to verify the USB connection, and to completely reimage the emmc chip with the image available from Sovol’s downloads page.

It might help if you can SSH into the printer, and run the command

lsusb -v

and post the output here. Also, grab the output for

I’ve reinstalled the image, still no luck. @sovol3d i’m waiting for some guidelines or an answer to my email. I’m still open to try suggestions, if one has them. Or maybe i’m doing something wrong.
