The x-axis bracket, the one that the extruder sits on, is not level. I need to do a procedure like in this video for the SV01 and can’t figure out how to disable steppers in the interface of my SV01 Pro. Any pointers to a document or video for how I level the x-axis bracket on the SV01 Pro? Or minimally how do I disable the steppers so that I can asynchronously adjust that bracket on one side? Thanks.
I don’t own an SV01, but in my other Marlin printers it’s under Prepare (scroll to the end of the list).
Thanks for the reply. The SV01 Pro has a (newer?) touch interface. But your reply did prompt me to go online again just to find out what the touch interface was called. And in the first review I watched, he mentioned disabling the stepper on a screen so that solves this issue and I now know how to choose disable stepper in this interface. I still need to figure out what I need to loosen to be able to independently adjust one of the z-axis but this is progress!
Edit: obviously I don’t know what I’m doing as after disabling the steppers, the other z-screw still spins when I spin one side. So I’m still not yet able to adjust the z-axis independently yet but I’ll keep working at it.
That’s the same screen that’s on the SV06 Plus.
Once you home the printer, you can just turn it off…this way you don’t have to click on Disable Steppers. Once you loosen the nuts, you can spin the stepper to the right position.
After everything is level & you tighten the nuts, turn he printer back on & re-home.
After you get it printing again, print a set of blocks to measure with.
I use these of both my SV06’s & Ender 3 Pro…I just set them at each end of the bed & not the frame…so the nozzle doesn’t touch the bed.
Got it. I the x-bracket level and the bed is level now. Thanks a bunch.
