I’m exploring multi-color printing on my Sovol SV07 Plus with the Coprint KCM kit. This kit allows up to 4 extruders per kit to feed into a common header, using some interesting cutting and retracting techniques to switch between colors. However, I’m stuck trying to find the USB address needed to populate the config files. I’ve tried everything I can think of, but no luck so far.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find the USB address? The kit is supposed to be compatible with most Klipper Sovol printers, but there aren’t any specific instructions on locating the USB port address.
Sorry for asking beyond the core topic of this post
What is this Kit? So you relace whole extruder head with this one and also the Klipper Control Panel of the SV07+ ? Could not find too much info in german regarding this kit. And this is kind of cheap and well working solution to get an AMS/multicolor printing capability added to the sovol printer?
it is not described as for SV07+, but the websit does mention that it works on klipperized sovol, including sv07+. But when I got to the downloads it has files for SV08 and SV06+. I am missing the correct usb address to use it on the config files as described on the solution mention on this post.
The system works as a ams, but instead of pooping the filament it retract and print it to the tower to change color. Still troubleshooting my usb address situation, but almos there.
Hi Lion, that guide is great. I am having priblem because my webinterface does not show the tab devices when i open a config file. I am trying by SSH using the standard user and pasword for mkspi. Maybe it will be possible to solve my problem. Thank you for replying the wiki website
