After a few seconds I lose connection with the printer. The built-in camera does not work.
In Obico I get information from the printer but no video.
I am using Orca slicer 2.3.2
Hi
Is your printer far from your access point?
No.
I have a Sovol 08 that is sitting next to me and works well.
Could you try plugging it in with a cable?
Obico only allows 1 printer unless you pay extra.
28
I pay for two printers.
It doesn’t help, the error persists.
Have you changed the network settings to indicate that you’re connecting via an ethernet cable rather than Wi-Fi?
I don’t know how to do that.
I don’t own such a printer so it’s just a suggestion.
Have you taken a look in the documentation?
you need to make sure your IP isn’t changing. Don’t know what kind of AP you are using but you should be able to bind the MAC address to an IP so DHCP gives you the same one every time.
@jooa, I don’t own a max, someone reported connection issues with SV08 and identical 2.4/5GHZ WiFi names. They found that connecting specifically to 2.4ghz fixed the connection issue.
The SV08 Max specification page shows 2.4Ghz support only. “Connectivity Ethernet, Wi-Fi: 2.4 GHz (WPA2 only, WPA3 not supported)”
Cheers,
-Mike
