SOVOL SV07 Plus, OrcaSlicer Networking

Hi,

Can anyone direct me to wherever one goes to find out how to connect my OrcaSlicer installation (Windows 11 Pro, Orca v2.3.0) to my SOVOL SV07 Plus. I know the printer’s IP and can connect to it via browser.

I can see Orca’s wireless button that brings up the “Physical Printer” dialog (host type: “MKS”)… if I enter the Hostname as the IP address, I get the error message “Could not connect to MKS: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it”, if I enter it as just the IP address, I get “Could not connect to MKS: The operation completed successfully”.

Thanks

James

Hello,

Have you checked your router?

It may be a routing issue, a blocked MAC address, or a blocked IP address.

I doubt it given that it worked before and the only thing I’ve changed since rebuilding my PC is the wireless password. It’s internal network only and I can access it via a browser, the same PC as my slicer.

Is there somewhere that’ll tell me how to configure a wireless connection to my printer? That way, at least I’ll know I’m doing it right.

Thanks

James

Take a look at the wiki:

Thanks… I’d already been there and couldn’t find anything related to network under either “SV07” or “SV07 Plus” (still can’t) :frowning:

If you can connect to Mainsail or Fluidd with a browser the problem must be in Orca.

The stock install on the Klipad doesn’t use a API or certificate.
