Had a power failure mid print, printer not work properly on start up until I did a factory reset. Is this normal? Also If take USB drive out of printer (power on or not, don’t make any difference) get drive errors when plug back into computer. don’t see any commands on screen to eject USB.
I’ve never heard of this issue before.
I would check that the plug is in all the way at the power supply & at the wall plug.
Wiggle the cord at the wall plug to check if the printer goes on & off…if it does replace the outlet or use a different one.
As for the USB, I’ve seen the same. Really nothing you can do about it, it’s basically going from one operating system to another.
Power company was the problem. Was just wondering if it usually messed up the controller.
I have all 4 of my printers on their own battery backup, it is a good investment.
