ABL Issue

When I click level bed it does 4 points across the first row, then goes off the bed to tries and do the 5th point and gives up. It seems like the sensor moves too far between each probe. What can I do to fix this? Thanks

Edit: I flashed a completely different firmware and it’s still doing this. Doesn’t really make much sense. What should the steps/mm be for each setting? That could cause problems maybe? Mine are 80/80/800 for x/y/z

What firmware are you running…??
Stock or Klipper…??

Stock, I tried restoring defaults first, then initialize eeprom

This is correct. Also, E is 691.5
What firmware did you flash…??

First I tried the newest official Sovol firmware, then I tried the marlin 2.1.2 someone compiled with a few extra features, but the auto level behaved the same way on all 3

You tried these…??
1: Sovol SV06 Firmware (With Filament Detection) - Google Drive
2: Sovol SV06 Latest Firmware(26th Jan 2024) - Google Drive

I did try the latest firmware (#2 in your list), and also one called " blastrock’s build

This is an attempt at cleaning up branches from various other firmwares while providing a working Marlin 2.1.2 firmware with X-Twist compensation support."

But not the filament detection build as I don’t have any hardware for that (edit next sentence)

I see the #1 in your list is called v2.0.0.A and that was the firmware that came on the printer so yeah tried that one

I have another firmware, but it’s older (192A)…if you want to try.
Forget the custom stuff for now, you need a build to get working again…
Then you can try something new.

I took the nuclear option and built klipper on my raspberry pi, working fine now, but I do wonder what was wrong with the stock firmware.
