Y stepper motor error

I was printing a first layer test file and repeatably got the following error message and the print stopped. I repeated the print twice more and it stopped with the same message but at different times. the error message was:

TMC ‘stepper_y’ reports error: GSTAT: 00000002
drv_err=1(ErrorShutdown!)

What does the message mean, and how can I fix it?

Double check the wiring…otherwise you will have to put in a ticket to Sovol.
From what I’ve read, it’s either a dead stepper or dead driver.
