my small contribution to the sovol community. I haven’t seen this anywhere so I think I can say it’s my design. only for beds with springs, which didn’t solve anything but easier to upgrade. no need to disassemble the bed and put a pad.
First, I unscrewed and removed the two plastic sleeves on the back of the bed and shortened them by 1mm on a grinder because I couldn’t lower the back side of the bed, which was the highest.the middle holes are free, nothing supports the bed. at the bottom you can only see the screw that secures the bed to the base, and the tap is the perfect size to cut an M12x1.5 thread. i turned the printer so that the shavings wouldn’t fall into the bed, put some grease on the tap to stick the shavings to it and cut the thread. i also printed this file in ASA because i don’t have anything better, all that’s needed are two headless Allen screws 12-15mm long. with 4-5 test levelings of the base it’s very easy to get to 0.2mm and better. my result is 0.14 max at a bed temperature of 65c
