has anyone found a use for the button on the screen? ideally it would be great if it was connected to a pin on the SOC such that we could use it as a button in klipper but i think that might be too much to hope for.
so, exreemly belated follow up on this but i figured i would update it in case anyone else is looking.
no, the button can not be used by klipper. it isnt even connected to the main CPU in the screen. it is instead wired to the PWRON pin on the RK805 power managment IC. this means that while it can be used to boot and power off the screen it cant be used by the system itself
