Sv07 doesn't power on. Klipper screen dead?

Hello,

I’ve owned my SV07 for roughly 2 years, and everything on the printer has functioned great. Recently, however, I tried to power on the printer, but it wouldn’t turn on. With the printer switched on, the Klipper screen makes a humming noise and flickers, but remains black. I’ve listed my troubleshooting below, but could someone tell me if my Klipper screen is dead? Or what else might be happening?

In terms of troubleshooting, I’ve made the following observations:

  • power switch fuse is intact
  • printer motherboard has a blue signal light when the printer is on (seemingly receiving sufficient power to operate).
  • pins on motherboard powering Klipper screen are outputting the correct 24V.
  • Klipper power cable has continuity.

Your best bet is to get the USB<>EMMC dongle and reflash the OS on the Klippad.

Personally I gave up on the Klipad and put linux+klipper+klipperscreen on a Microsoft Surface Go. Hugely better than a Klipad

I looked at the link you sent and tried reflashing using a USB with armbian-update.deb. No luck. I will get an eMMC<>USB and try a full reset that way.
