SV04 motherboard

Good morning
In April 2024, I bought my Sovol SV04.
The left head got clogged 3 weeks ago. I disassembled it, cleaned it, and reassembled it correctly. After that, it doesn’t start. The progress bar is stuck at zero. I noticed that the right head keeps heating up and the left one doesn’t heat up. I tried updating the firmware and nothing. It only updates the screen firmware, not the motherboard firmware.
Could you help me? I thought about buying another motherboard, but I can’t find it for sale in Brazil. I sent an email and got no response.

Hi,
It looks like bad wiring.
Either a badly plugged wire or a broken wire.

After confirming all wires are connected correctly, I would start the printer without an SD card inserted.

Just to check, the screen firmware is only updated through a micro SD card inserted behind the touchscreen board. Printer firmware updates through the main SD card slot to the motherboard. If you have only firmware.bin file saved to main SD card’s root directory and it still doesn’t load, rename the firmware.bin to aaa.bin and restart.

I don’t understand why flash a firmware after a nozzle cleanup.
I saw that @Tigato does it but I don’t understand why.

I did the update because it was stuck, and on a forum they said it could be corrupted firmware

Ok, but if it worked before it’s a pity.

Frozen Screen
If the Touchscreen of the SV04 freeze and stuck on the progress bar after booting up, please follow the steps below to fix the problem.

  1. Power Supply Voltage: Check whether the power supply voltage is suitable for the local power Voltage.
  2. Wiring: Please check whether there is any looseness or damage appear on the wiring of the Touchscreen. And please replug it first and make sure it is firmly connected.
  3. Rename the mainboard firmware to cover the previous mainboard firmware. Like rename the original name to aaa.bin to refresh the firmware again.
