hi my prints keep failing at the same part no matter how long it takes it doesn’t change where it fails I know it is because of bed adhesion though.
My large PLA prints fail to stay on the bed as well. The solution is to apply elmers glue stick to the bed before printing PLA.
For heat creep issues in the extruder, there is a mod to use a 5015 fan for extruder cooling: Printables
I have not had too much of a problem with heat creep. If I do I will do the 5015 exturder cooling upgrade.
For bed bed adhesion with PLA rub a bunch of Elmers Glue stick on it, or spray it with hairspray before printing. Probably need to spray the bed plate somewhere else so it doesn’t get all over the printer.
The “retraction distance” must be less than 0.5mm. I keep mine at 0.4mm to be safe.
