Hi! I discovered that the heightmap helps with bed adhesion. How often do I need to do the heightmap? I have read I should do one before every print. Is that accurate?
That depends on you. I find that if I don’t change bed temperature and don’t change build plates I can run a week or more before I need a new mesh on my SV07.
Note I print with a .3mm first layer 90% of the time. Thinner first layers need extra attention.
Also tall skinny models are more sensitive.
Adaptive heightmap is being created before each print to make sure that you get a good adhesion.
I am usually run a Z_TILT_ADJUST macro each time I am going to print anything
The SV06 ACE creates an adjusted height map of the actual print area. It may not be a good idea to reuse this height map for another print if the print area on the print bed changes.
