Printing problems due to filament sensor

Hello everyone! I apologize in advance, I don’t speak English. I searched through the threads using Translate but couldn’t find a similar one, so I created a new one. If one already exists, I’d appreciate a link.

I had a small issue with my Sovol SV06 ACE. I managed to solve it, but not very gracefully, so I wanted to share this in case anyone else has encountered something similar and knows of other solutions.

Let’s get to the point. Since purchasing the printer, I’ve been having intermittent printing issues. The extruder would simply stop feeding filament mid-print, even though the printer continued to operate as if nothing had happened. No clogs, no grinding noises – simply nothing.
A few prints would go smoothly, and then the problem would reoccur. At first, unloading and reloading the filament into the extruder solved the problem.

Then I noticed that the problem was more common when the filament approached the edge of the spool during a print. I suspected that in this position, the filament sensor might be creating too much resistance, causing it to tighten and preventing further printing from the extruder.
So I decided to run a quick test:
I bypassed the sensor entirely and fed filament directly into the extruder.
To trick the sensor and prevent the “out of filament” error, I inserted a small piece of filament inside.
And, to my surprise, it worked. I haven’t had any issues so far.
I’m not claiming this is a definitive solution, but if anyone else encounters a similar issue, you might want to try my example.
Has anyone else encountered this? How did you solve it?
P.S.: The sensor was tightly tightened during assembly from the start. Perhaps because the spool is narrower than the holder, the spool “wanders” along it and sometimes reaches just the right angle for the filament sensor to enter. For now, my workaround works.
